Narik email dg outlook Express di Yahoo.co.id

POP Yahoo! Mail dengan Microsoft Outlook Express

Beginilah caranya untuk "POP" mail dari Yahoo! Mail ke dalam Outlook Express:

1. Dari menu Tools, pilih "Account."
2. Pilih tab "Mail".
3. Klik tombol "Add".
4. Dari menu Add, klik "Mail."
5. Di kotak teks labeled Display Name, ketik nama Anda lalu klik "Next."
6. Di kotak Email Address, ketik alamat Yahoo! Mail Anda (jangan lupa memasukkan "@yahoo.com") lalu klik "Next." 7. Di bawah "My incoming mail server is a…" pilih "POP3."
8. Ketik "pop.mail.yahoo.co.id" di kotak Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP, atau HTTP) Server.
9. Ketik "smtp.mail.yahoo.co.id" di kotak Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server.
10. Klik "Next."
11. Di kotak Account Name, ketik Yahoo! Mail ID Anda (alamat email Anda tanpa "@yahoo.com").
12. Di kotak Password, ketik sandi Yahoo! Mail Anda.
13. Jika Anda ingin agar Outlook Express mengingat sandi Anda, beri tanda centang pada kotak "Remember password".
14. Jangannot mencentang kotak labeled "Log on using Secure…"
15. Klik "Next."
16. Klik "Finish."
17. Pilih 'pop.mail.yahoo.yahoo.co.id' di bawah 'Account,' lalu klik 'Properties.'
18. Klik tab “Servers”.
19. Di bawah kotak centang “Outgoing Mail Server” di samping “My server requires authentication”
20. Klik tab 'Advanced'.
21. Under “Outgoing mail Server (SMTP)”, check the box next to “This server requires a secure connection (SSL). Enter port number “465” in the “Outgoing mail (SMTP)” field.
22. Under “Incoming mail (POP3)”, check the box next to “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)". The port number in the “Incoming mail (POP3)" field should automatically change from 110 to 995. If it doesn’t, make sure the port number is set to 995.

Petunjuk pemecahan masalah.

Jika Anda mengikuti langkah konfigurasi di atas, pasti semuanya beres. Namun demikian, jika Anda tidak dapat mengirim atau menerima surat melalui klien email Anda, coba ikuti saran berikut.

Server Yahoo! Mail SMTP memerlukan otentikasi. Pastikan Anda sudah mengaktifkan otentikasi SMTP. Untuk mengaktifkan pengaturan ini:

1. Dari menu Tools, pilih \"Accounts.\"
2. Pilih tab \"Mail\".
3. Klik dua kali account berlabel \"pop.mail.yahoo.co.id\"
4. Pilih tab \"Servers\".
5. Beri tanda centang pada kotak di samping \"My Server Requires Authentication.\"
6. Click \"OK.\"

Untuk mengontrol penghapusan pesan dari Yahoo! Mail Server:

1. Dari menu Tools, pilih \"Accounts.\"
2. Pilih tab \"Mail\".
3. Klik dua kali account berlabel \"pop.mail.yahoo.co.id\"
4. Pilih tab \"Advanced\".
5. Pada bagian Delivery di bawah jendela, beri tanda centang pada \"Leave a copy of messages on server\" jika Anda ingin menyimpan pesan Yahoo! Mail Anda pada server Yahoo! Mail serta pada komputer lokal Anda. Jangan beri tanda centang pada kotak ini jika Anda ingin agar pesan dihapus dari server Yahoo! Mail setelah Anda menerimanya dalam Outlook Express.

We strongly recommend that you enable SSL for both POP and SMTP, as detailed in the above instructions. This will ensure that your Yahoo! ID, password and email messages are transmitted securely between your mail client and the Yahoo! servers. However, if you choose to not use SSL for SMTP, your email client will likely default the SMTP port to 25. If your ISP blocks port 25 or if you're unable to send email, then you will need to use port 587 when sending via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. To make this change, please follow the directions below:

1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts"
2. Select your Yahoo! POP account and click on the "Properties" button
3. Click on the "Advanced" tab
4. Next to "Outgoing server (SMTP), change port 25 to 587
5. Click "Apply", then click "OK" and "Close"
